Transforming Lives Through Partnership: The WellSpring Difference

At WellSpring, we believe in the power of community and collaboration to bring about meaningful change. Our mission is to help families experiencing homelessness stabilize their lives and create brighter futures, and we know that this work is made possible through the dedication of our team, the support of our partners, and the strength of those we serve.

Our Programs: A Path to Stability and Self-Sufficiency

WellSpring offers a range of programs designed to meet the immediate needs of individuals and families while providing long-term solutions for stability:

  • Emergency Shelter
Our emergency shelter program offers immediate support for families experiencing homelessness, providing safe, temporary housing along with resources to help them transition to permanent housing. By offering a warm, welcoming space, we ensure that families in crisis have a place to start rebuilding their lives.

  • HopeSpring: Permanent Supportive Housing
At HopeSpring, we offer permanent supportive housing for families who need additional help to maintain stability. This program provides safe, affordable housing paired with supportive services to ensure long-term success. Our goal is to help families regain independence and self-sufficiency while offering the resources they need to thrive.

  • Community Service Center of Morgan County (CSCMC)
As the central hub for resources, referrals, and community connections, the CSCMC connects individuals and families to a wide range of services. From food assistance to healthcare referrals, we ensure that those in need have access to the resources they require to regain their footing and create a stable future.

Our Impact: Working Together with Local Partners

While WellSpring’s programs are crucial to the success of our mission, we know that our impact is amplified through collaboration. We are proud to partner with several local organizations that share our commitment to improving the lives of those in need:

  • Frieden’s Community Ministries
Through our partnership with Frieden’s Community Ministries, we are able to operate the Hope House Food Pantry, providing essential food assistance to families in need. This partnership helps us ensure that families are able to access nutritious food while they work to overcome the challenges of homelessness.

  • Local Churches and Faith-Based Organizations
Our collaboration with local churches and faith-based organizations is an essential part of the WellSpring community. From providing shelter and meals to offering emotional support, these partners play a key role in our efforts to serve families and individuals in crisis.

  • The City of Martinsville and Morgan County Government
Our work with local government agencies helps us connect families to the resources and services they need to thrive. From housing assistance to job training, the support we receive from local government ensures that we can make a lasting difference in the lives of the people we serve.

  • Volunteer Groups and Local Businesses
We are incredibly grateful for the volunteers and businesses that contribute to our mission. Whether through donations of time, goods, or services, these groups help us expand our reach and provide vital services to our community.

Looking to the Future

As we look to the future, WellSpring remains committed to expanding our reach and deepening our partnerships. By continuing to work alongside our dedicated partners and the incredible individuals and families we serve, we will keep providing the tools and support needed to create lasting change. Together, we’re building a stronger, more resilient community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
