Emergency Shelter and Supportive Services
At WellSpring, we are committed to providing emergency shelter and comprehensive supportive services for families experiencing homelessness.
Our goal is to empower our residents on their journey towards self-sufficiency and stability.
Emergency Shelter
Our facility features nine apartment units, where residents can stay at no cost. While residing at WellSpring, our dedicated staff collaborates with community partners to support families in developing a plan for obtaining permanent housing.
Supportive Services
We believe that holistic support is essential for successful transitions. Our residents enjoy access to a range of resources:
- The Chrysalis Common Gathering Area: A welcoming space for residents to connect and build community.
- Weekly Success Coaching: Personalized guidance in employment and housing assistance to help residents set and achieve their goals.
- Educational Classes: Workshops on nutrition, parenting, stress management, finances, and more, designed to equip residents with essential life skills.
- Resource Center: Access to our computer lab and Ruth Rusie Memorial library for educational and job search purposes.
- Gunner James Burnam On-Site Food Pantry: Providing essential nutrition to our residents.
- Free Dental Clinic: Offering critical dental care to support overall health.
At WellSpring, we provide a nurturing environment, focusing on support, encouragement, and resources to help our residents thrive.
